About Marty Jindra

Marty Jindra is a high energy speaker who combines strong communication skills with in-depth business expertise. After earning his B.A. degree in Mass Communications and an FCC First Class License, Marty worked as a broadcast engineer for an ABC TV affiliate and, later, as an announcer at a local radio station.

He then worked as a Product Support Specialist in the construction equipment industry and was promoted to Sales Training Manager for the company's $1.5 billion equipment division. In this capacity, Jindra conducted product and sales training classes at company headquarters and at distributor locations across the country. He also wrote, narrated, and produced video training programs in support of new product launches. During this segment of Marty's career, he earned an MBA in Executive Management and also served as President of the Chicago Sales Training Association.

Jindra was contacted by a major food company to assist with their in-house training initiative, which led to the creation of MJ Communications. In his audio studio, he produced complete turnkey audio tracks for use in safety and operation videos. He also provided these services to a company specializing in Human Resource benefits training.

For over 20 years, Marty has worked in the capital equipment industry, initially as Marketing Director, where he created several standard product lines and branding initiatives. He was promoted to Vice-President of the company's Systems Business Unit, responsible for revenue growth of the medical equipment segment, and the development of multiple industrial markets. As the leader of this business unit, Marty has managed a direct sales force, recruited sales channel partners, and created a dedicated web portal to grow the company's profitable aftermarket business.

In 2011, Jindra created the Give 'Em L—Turning Your Gotta's Into Goals motivational program. As the name suggests, the program helps individuals move from the "gotta" mode to the achievement of their most important goals. The program was released as an audio CD, with a booklet of six motivational messages.

Throughout Marty's career, he has identified a strong need for employees to understand the financial basics of how a company operates and how everyone contributes to its success. His latest program, inCharge, combines financial education and motivation, encouraging employees to contribute ideas on how to increase profitability. The program is offered as a one day seminar or as a standard program for in-house use by training professionals.
